Drainage & Grading
Standing water, runoff cutting across the yard, water heading toward your home — these aren't just nuisances, they're a failing grade. We correct the slope and add the right drainage so water goes where it should. Serving Western NC and Upstate SC.
Most wet-property problems aren't a drainage problem by themselves — they're a grading problem that got missed. We correct the slope, then add the drainage that fits, so water stops pooling, cutting, and running toward your home.
Water that sits for days after rain is a sign the grade isn't shedding it. Low spots collect water, breed mosquitoes, and slowly soften the ground beneath your yard, driveway, or foundation.
Heavy mountain rain doesn't soak in — it runs. When it runs the wrong way, it cuts channels, erodes soil, and undermines whatever's in its path. We redirect it before it does more damage.
The fastest fix for most drainage issues is simply getting the slope right. We reshape the surface so water sheds away from the house, the driveway, and the low ground where it used to sit.
Some water has to move underground. When surface grading alone won't carry it, a French drain or subsurface line collects it below the surface and moves it quietly out of the way.
On rural and sloped properties, water often needs a clear path — a ditch, a swale, or a culvert under the drive. We build and clean these so runoff has somewhere to go besides across your property.
Adding drains to a property with the wrong grade just moves the problem. We've corrected drainage across Rutherford, Polk, Henderson, and Spartanburg counties — and the fix always starts with the slope underneath it.
We stand behind qualifying work with a minimum 5 year warranty. When planning, preparation, and installation are done correctly, long-term performance should be expected.
