If you're building a house, here's what has to happen to the lot first: the footprint gets cleared, the ground gets cut and filled to the right elevation, the soil gets compacted, and the whole thing gets drained. We take it to exactly that point — ready for the foundation crew.
The pad starts with a clean, open footprint. We remove trees, brush, stumps, and roots from the build area — not just the surface, but deep enough that nothing left behind will heave or decay under the slab.
Most lots aren't naturally flat where you want the house. We cut the high side, fill the low side, and set the finished elevation so the structure sits level and drains correctly.
Loose or fluffy soil settles under a house — and settling cracks slabs and foundations. We compact the pad in lifts so the ground underneath is firm and stable before the first form is set.
A dry house starts with a dry pad. We shape the ground so water sheds away from the structure on all sides, and add drainage where the slope alone won't carry it.
Concrete trucks, delivery vehicles, and crews all need to get in and work. We build or reinforce access and stage areas so the build can happen without tearing up the site.
We deliver the site at the point where the builder takes over — cleared, at elevation, compacted, and drained. No surprises for the foundation crew, no rework after the slab is poured.
