Concrete Driveways
A concrete driveway is only as good as the ground underneath it. We prep, grade, form, pour, and finish — so your driveway stays flat, drains right, and holds up for years. Serving Western NC and Upstate SC.
Concrete cracks when the base shifts, the drainage is wrong, or the pour is rushed. We build the subgrade first, then pour on ground that's actually ready — so your driveway doesn't crack, heave, or hold water.
Before any concrete goes down, the ground has to be right. We excavate, grade, and compact the subgrade so the slab has a stable, well-drained base that won't shift under weight.
Forms set the shape, thickness, and edges of the driveway — and they have to be right before the pour. We set forms true to the grade and add reinforcement where the slab will take real load.
Concrete is time-sensitive. We place it evenly, work it into the corners, and consolidate it so there are no voids — then screed it level to the planned grade.
Finishing gives the slab its surface — smooth or brushed for traction — and curing gives it its strength. We finish at the right time and cure it properly so it lasts.
Water is what undermines concrete over time. We grade the slab to shed water and build in the drainage — ditches, culverts, or surface slope — so water never sits on or under your driveway.
Most concrete driveway failures — cracks, heaves, sinking — trace back to the base and drainage underneath, not the concrete itself. We've poured driveways across Rutherford, Polk, Henderson, and Spartanburg counties, and we build the base right first.
We stand behind qualifying work with a minimum 5 year warranty. When planning, preparation, and installation are done correctly, long-term performance should be expected.
